About Denise
My career began almost 20 years ago in the Banking industry as a loan analyst for one of Michigan’s largest mortgage lenders. During that time, I developed a vast knowledge and understanding of the importance of having good credit. I’ve had files come across my desk that I would calculate a client’s debt-to-income (DTI) ratios for loan qualification purposes. In many cases, I’ve sent out loan denial letters because clients did not meet the credit criteria to qualify for a home loan. I’ve experienced the difficulty of telling a client, ‘Unfortunately, you do not qualify’ or ‘Not at this time'.
However, today, I would like to change that narrative and give people an opportunity to improve their creditworthiness, so the denial letters are now Approval letters.
